On Sunday, July 12th, several members and friends of United Presbyterian Church joined other area churches for a “REACH OUT” day providing community service in several areas around town. Some from UP stained picnic tables on the courthouse lawn while others pulled weeds around the public library. What a way to be the hands and feet of Christ!

Many enjoyed “Build It & Split It!”, this year’s ice cream social, that was held on Sunday, August 24th, at the home of David & Jill Hook. A mound of ice cream in a shallow tote began the fun. As friends arrive, they were given a pourable container of topping to make the ice cream delicacy! It was a perfect afternoon of Christian fellowship!
Take me out to the ballgame! There was a special welcome to friends from United Presbyterian Church at the Iowa Cubs game on Saturday, August 16th! It was a great night to support this favorite past time!
